How Rahala works
Rahala is a cross-border payments and remittance network on the Sepolia testnet. Below: how to use this console, what happens on-chain, and the payment flow at a glance.
๐งญ
How to use
1Connect your wallet with the top-right Connect Wallet button โ the chain badge shows the active network (Sepolia). If the setup banner appears, paste your RahalaAccounts address and press Use this ledger.
2In Send Payment, enter the recipient address and the amount in AED-S, pick a release mode โ Instant, Timelocked (7 days) or Milestones (2 approvals) โ and press Send.
3In Foreign Exchange, type an amount and press Convert to USD or Convert to AED-S; the table shows your USD balance and the fee + spread.
4Under Invoices & Governance, register a trade invoice โ payer and face value โ with Register so a financier can factor it at a discount.
5Propose a new escrow fee in bps with Propose and watch your balance, USD rate, escrow, fees and netted totals in the ribbon above.
๐
The process โ what happens on-chain
1When you press Send, RahalaEscrow locks the AED-S payment โ issued by RahalaStable and tracked on the RahalaAccounts ledger โ until its release condition is met.
2Before anything moves, RahalaCompliance validates both sides: KYC tier, sanctions, region allowlist and the transfer + daily caps.
3For a conversion, RahalaOracle supplies the EMA-smoothed rate and RahalaFX swaps the amount, sending the fee + spread to RahalaTreasury behind its reserve floor.
4Once the condition is met, the recipient claims from RahalaEscrow. If the payment is disputed, RahalaDisputes lets a 2-of-3 panel of arbiters issue a binding award.
5A registered invoice lives in RahalaInvoices: a financier factors it at a disclosed discount and the payer later settles the face value.
6The fee you proposed is decided by RahalaGovernor โ balance-weighted voting with quorum, review, voting and timelock periods โ while RahalaSettlement nets bilateral obligations in batches.
